Welcome to the Uniqueness of You Blog. I will be exploring several concepts over the next several months, starting with the Therapy of Thought. New postings will be every other Monday, so be sure to bookmark this page! I’ll begin the series on Therapy of Thought with bi-monthly discussions on the greatest human needs. Each session will cover a different need from value, importance, fulfillment, power, control, success and love. What is a Therapy of Thought? It’s a Mind Activator through words, energy and a connection with the universe to achieve whatever you want in life. Words that come into your brain are activated by your neuronal system to bring messages to and from your brain for processing an action or idea. The Therapy of Thought is when these ideas enter the brain’s activated message center and have either a positive or negative impact on your thinking pattern. Most humans live on earth but never manifest themselves. What are the greatest human needs? Every human needs to feel that they were born for a reason. We'll start this week with VALUE Humans want to feel value. In order to foster a positive sense of self-worth, we need to feel that others value us. You can help others feel value by simply noticing they are there. Offer a simple thank you when someone does something nice like opening a door or stepping aside in line to let you go first. Acknowledgement of the other person allows them to feel that they are valued. This acknowledgement often results in that person recognizing our good qualities, in turn making us feel valued. It's important to understand that liking ourselves goes a long way toward liking, and respecting, others. When we know we are liked, we are more apt to feel that we are bring respected, valued, and appreciated. When we are appreciated, we understand that we are making a difference in others' lives. Feeling appreciated can make our bonds with others stronger. As you go about your day, pay attention to how others are responding to you, and respond in turn to them in positive ways. Your sense of value will increase and your Therapy of Thought will begin to manifest itself. Next week our discussion will center around the concept of Humans wanting to feel the sense of significance or importance.
