Just get creative. You can do anything if you use your creativity. How many times have you heard that? The team leader says, “Let’s put on our creative hats! We can do this!!” In your mind, you answer, “But, I don’t have a creative bone in my body. I’m not an artist, I can’t write, I can’t sing, etc. etc." We admire the creative outputs of others all the time. Looking at a beautiful painting, listening to inspirational music, and wishing we could do something like that, but knowing we can’t. In the business world today, creativity is often valued more than hard work, discipline, integrity, or vision. (Allen, 2020) So what does that mean? We can’t be successful or happy if we aren’t artists, musicians, or dancers? Of course not. Creativity is not limited to those who outwardly demonstrate beauty or inspiration. Everyone has the ability to unearth their own creativity. It’s important to understand that creativity is a process. It’s not about bursts of inspiration, but rather it’s about recognizing when those “a-ha” moments do come up and what to do with them. We live in a world of challenges that test all human beings’ emotional strengths on a daily basis. It’s our faith and belief in oneself whether we give up on life or face the situation. Life appears scary when you run away from the situation. The challenges get bigger when we are not prepared in life. The fundamental process to facilitate a positive, creative change is to prepare yourself for the tougher challenges of life. Life is uncertain at every step. You can’t predict the ebb and flow of life, but you should be prepared on how you react to these changes. (Pullman A. , A Cool and Relaxed Life, 2017) You have it within you to use creative tools to provide you with a roadmap for finding your uniqueness through creativity. Some of the tools you already possess include the ability to simply relax. Take a walk, play a game. When you are trying to be creative, you may actually be blocking the creativity. Do something that will get your mind off the problem, free up your mind, and you may be surprised at the creative solutions that come to you. You can also not be afraid of creative ideas. How many times have thought of something, then decided the idea was “stupid” so you discarded it. When brainstorming creative ideas, critical thinking can be put aside. Who knows, maybe the idea you have won’t work, but it may spark another idea, one that will work. Finally, don’t give up. Someone once said, “Can’t never did anything.” This is so true. Once you say, “I can’t.” you have given up. You won’t get anything done with a defeatist attitude. Don’t give up. That creative solution or idea, or path to happiness will come to you eventually. It may be hours, days, weeks, or even years before you realize that your creative flow is contributing to your success and happiness. References

It is spring now and we see signs of rebirth everywhere: in the plants and trees, flowers and new buds are peaking out above the brown winter colors. People are moving about without their heavy coats and boots.
The effort to bring back warm days, bright colors, and carefree living is everywhere. We are yearning for a simpler life again. Creativity will add beauty to our lives even more now. As human beings we are a vessel of various emotion from happy to sad. We are full of thoughts and ideas that inhabit us with energy. And if the creative energy in our minds sits untouched, it can turn on itself and we feel all sorts of anxiety and restlessness. To maintain our emotional well-being, we need to exercise our creativity. (Pullman A. , A Cool and Relaxed Life, 2017) Spring is the perfect time to do this. Use the time to reflect on the past several months, gleaning as much of the positive from them as possible. Granted, the past year has not been the best, but there are some good things that are a direct result of the lockdowns. For example, carbon emissions have dropped dramatically as a result of the drop in the use of fossil fuel. Going forward, this is a great opportunity for new business in the manufacture of electric vehicles. Remember this: The creative process reveals our true and authentic self that allow us to success in all aspects of life. (Pullman A. , A Cool and Relaxed Life, 2017) ReferencesMiriam=Webster.
