The key to your future can be realized through the power of your imagination. Imagination is something we all possessed as children, but lost somewhere along the way to adulthood. Time, peer pressure, responsibilities, and a myriad of other obstacles got in the way of using our imagination to achieve our goals. In my book, Your Unique Style of Fit, I listed four side effects of using imagination to achieve goals:

Your mindset is made up of your beliefs, thoughts, and responses to beliefs of others. Beliefs are the blueprint – the software – of the unconscious mind. Focus aligns the energy field of the brain, and repeated focus rewires the brain. In this way, belief becomes an anatomical reality.
Beliefs determine what we will or won’t do. What we believe – the meaning we feel certain will come from situations – determines how we behave and what we will do. You are not ready for a thing until you believe you can acquire it. In order to create a new belief, you first must audit, or review your current beliefs. Three steps to reviewing your pre-existing beliefs are discussed on the wikiHow webpage: How to Develop Your Own Beliefs. You must audit, explore, and then establish your belief system. Once you have gone through this process, you are ready to look at other belief systems and find those that fit your goals.
There are basically two types of beliefs:

This is a good time to reflect on the reasons why losing weight is so difficult. Some people report that they were eating because of boredom. That certainly is the case for many of us now that we are still sheltering-at-home during the pandemic. How often do you go to the refrigerator, open it, then close it again? It’s a lot easier to pull a bag of chips out of the cupboard than it is to find something to cook.
Here are some thoughts from my book, “Your Unique Style of Fit” to think about as you are examining your reasons for eating too much or too often:
After meditating, visualizing, fasting, and praying you can begin to experience a higher level of thinking that unleashed creative mind potential of ideas and energy to begin on the journey for your weight loss. Start by changing the negative connotation of the word “weight loss” to a positive connotation “Unique Style of Fit.” This means that you are in control of establishing your own key to success in finding your own style and fit to be a healthy person.
